Chapter 3 The Beginning of a Sports Story

The injury on Olivia's knee was gradually healing. Seeing the faint light coming through the window, Olivia got up after a simple wash and prepared to go out for a run. During the days she spent recovering at home, she felt extremely bored and restless. Usually, Olivia had the habit of going out for exercise every day, and staying at home all day was a very torturous thing for her. Although her injury had not fully healed, she was eager to open the door and go out.
The community where Olivia lived was not large, and it was not very populous. Passing through the community to the easternmost side, there was a narrow road. Hardly any vehicles or pedestrians could be seen on the road in the early morning. The road extended eastward, and after a while, there was a large iron bridge. The iron bridge was somewhat old. Olivia remembered that when she was very young, her father often took her to fish by the river under the bridge. The river under the bridge seemed to have never changed, with its slow-flowing clear water. After passing the iron bridge, there was a new park. This riverside park was Olivia's favorite place to run.
Inside the park, Olivia turned and ran south along the riverside path. The morning air was very refreshing, and Olivia was in a good mood. She hardly felt the slight pain in her leg. When Olivia looked into the distance, she saw a girl's figure slowly approaching her. It was not until they were face to face that she recognized it was the girl who had just moved opposite her house a few days ago. In fact, that night, Olivia had not looked very carefully. It was only now that she clearly saw the girl's face.
The girl's face was very fair, with a hint of redness, and there were two or three tiny black spots on her face. But these small black dots made her face appear even more tender and vibrant. Her eyes were very expressive, exuding a unique charm. In fact, looking at her features separately, there was nothing particularly outstanding. However, when combined together, they not only made her look beautiful but also gave a warm and friendly feeling.
Olivia stopped and greeted her. The girl also stopped and turned to give Olivia a light smile.
"I think I've seen you before," Olivia said.
    "Me too," the girl responded.
"I know you just moved in," Olivia continued.
The girl nodded and asked her, "Is your leg injury better?" Hearing the girl's question, Olivia was very surprised. She didn't understand how the girl knew about her injury.
Seeing her startled, the girl smiled, "That night, I saw your leg was bleeding. I thought you had just been in a fight."
Olivia also smiled and told her her name, "Olivia."
"Donna!" the girl said her name generously, smiled, and ran off.
Olivia remembered this name, and her curiosity about this person deepened. She hadn't expected Donna to share her hobby, and she was accustomed to running alone in this large park in the morning. Today, surprisingly, someone was even earlier than her.
Many questions flashed through Olivia's mind. Unconsciously, the sun was already shining overhead. Olivia came back to her senses, discarded her distracting thoughts, and ran for a while longer before returning along the same route.
Entering the community from the road, Olivia saw a Ford car coming from a distance and stopping at her doorstep. She hurriedly quickened her pace and ran up. A middle-aged man came down from the driver's seat and opened his arms in the direction she was running from. The middle-aged man was extremely happy, and seeing this scene, Olivia's eyes suddenly moistened, and she rushed into his embrace.
